A b o u t

Thriving Spaces was created to help people change their lives by changing the energy in their environments. Feng Shui can be used to increase prosperity, move a career forward, help you lose weight or find a mate. Since childhood I have loved to draw floor plans and change rooms around. As a little girl I used to move the walls and furniture in my dollhouses to make the spaces more inviting.  In college I earned a degree in urban planning because I wanted to have an impact on the ways cities grow.  I used my degree for several years as a grant writer for a small city in New Hampshire, then as a coordinator of urban management training in New England.  For the past 20 years I have worked in public relations and marketing and have used my design and language skills to promote a variety of products and services.  Since 2002 I have worked as the director of marketing for a real estate company, and have helped market over 1,000 properties, most of which I’ve walked through.

I am:

  • A practitioner of Essential Feng Shui®.  As a graduate of the Western School of Feng Shui™, I practice a western cultural interpretation of the ancient principles of Form School Feng Shui.
  • An educator of the principles of Feng Shui.  One of my goals is to teach these principles to my clients so that they can bring Feng Shui into their lives as a process – not just a project – for change.
  • A follow-up fanatic.   I have found that a written report and floor plan help my clients understand visually what I tell them in their consultation.  I love the follow-up visit in which my clients share with me what they’ve done and how it has changed the energy in their lives.
